Double Exposure 2016

SMARTPHONEOGRAPHY: Session 1 - June 20th to 24th (  9am to 1pm /4 hours a day)

 Experience the history of photography as a tool for learning!  Explore design elements and differents points-of-view with modern photographic tools like selfie sticks and smartphone lenses. Make unique images exploring Apps that can make long or multiple exposures.  Work in a mobile darkroom to create black & white images with chemistry and light sensitive photographic paper.  Participants will explore topics on the history of selfies and selfie sticks, portraiture, lighting, landscape, social media and responsible image sharing.  All art projects will be a part of a public exhibition, date TBA.  

Recommended for grades 4-6 and 7-9.  

Week Schedule:    

Monday     Selfies + Self-Portraiture

Tuesday     Shoot 35mm Cameras + Develop 35mm Film 

Wednesday     Smartphone Scanner + Instant Film

Thursday     Smartphone Darkroom

Friday         Pizza Party + Exhibition of Art
