Join us for a gathering of artists, arts educators, community organizers, curators, and business leaders from Oceanside and San Diego for a discussion about how the greater San Diego Arts community can grow and thrive without being complicit in the displacement of local residents. We’ll also be discussing the topic of cultural appropriation and how fostering diverse leadership and inclusive representation in the arts is a direct and effective response.

  • Joaquin Ortiz (Director of Innovation at the Museum of Photographic Arts)
  • Dominic Cooley (Local business owner, Commercial Photographer)
  • Gumaro Escarcega (Program Manager, MainStreet Oceanside)
