PAPERCUTS ZINE SHOW & ZINE CLUB MEETING

 Join us Saturday evening from 6-10pm for the opening of our third annual Papercuts Zine Show where local artists showcase their zines, prints, stickers, buttons and more! Visit us again on Sunday to participate in our monthly zine club meeting. $5 suggested donations, some materials will be provided. Open to all ages and feel free to bring any additional items you need to create your art work!

LIVE MUSIC & DANCE PERFORMACE | HARLEY CORTEZ

Please joins us for a Special Music performance by Ashes of Us (an  inventory of memory), Harley Cortez and dance performance by Sandi Rae Augusta Denton. 

The piano performance is select works from an up coming avant-classical / ambient album entitled "An Inventory of Memory" that will be accompanied with a book of the same title" 

The dance performance for one of the pieces is a take on modern ballet--imagining a painting coming to life. The piece was choreographed specifically to the music. FREE

We will provide refreshments and mingle time to view Journey's piece contributions. 

All donations for this event will be contributed to art funding for Encinitas and South Carlsbad Schools. Show off what you do!

Join us for a gathering of artists, arts educators, community organizers, curators, and business leaders from Oceanside and San Diego for a discussion about how the greater San Diego Arts community can grow and thrive without being complicit in the displacement of local residents. We’ll also be discussing the topic of cultural appropriation and how fostering diverse leadership and inclusive representation in the arts is a direct and effective response.
