Art Hotel | Tribal Equity in Oceanside

  • Civic Center Library Community Room 300 North Coast Highway Oceanside, CA, 92054 United States (map)

In exploring the feasibility of our Art Hotel, we want to keep the ethical use of land in Oceanside top of mind. Our tribal equity coordinator Sunny Soto-Briscoe will lead the group in a discussion about building and maintaining equity with the tribal groups whose ancestral land we occupy.

Sunny is deeply rooted in her heritage and community. Coming from a background of hardworking field laborers and passionate activists, Sunny's upbringing instilled in her a sense of resilience and perseverance. Despite facing challenges and setbacks, including legal hurdles in her youth, Sunny remained determined to carve out a better future for herself.
